Reception:

Open from 8.00am. Check in from 2.00pm. From time to time reception may be closed. If you need us, and this is the case.. please Ph: 03 6471 7268
 

Non-smoking property:

In the interests of the health and safety of all our guests, management has classified all bungalows as NON-SMOKING. Please smoke outside where receptacles and seating have been provided.

Check-out:

Check out time is 10.00am. This enables time for us to service the bungalow in readiness for our next guests. Please advise us prior to your departure day if you intend to leave before 8.00am.

Room servicing:

We do not provide daily room service for multiple night stays. However, should you require clean towels place them outside your door before 10.00am. If your rubbish bins are full, tie the bag up and place in outdoor bins that are strategically placed around the bungalows. (Try to keep bottles & cans separate please.) Clean bags are in the bottom drawer of your kitchen.

Laundry:

The guest laundry is located behind the bungalows at the north west corner. The dryer and washing machine are coin operated ($2 coins). Iron, ironing board, and clothes horse are provided and are stored in the wardrobes of your bungalow.

Free booking service:

We are happy to secure bookings for your activities or dining in Strahan.

Fax Facilities:

Send or receive faxes during reception hours. Our fax number is (03) 6471 7268. A small fee of $2 is charged for outgoing faxes.

Parking:

There is a parking space provided per bungalow. When entering or leaving the property, just be mindful of pedestrians using the footpath near the road side.

Lost property:

Management is unable to accept any responsibility for lost property. However if you do leave something behind, please contact us and we will do our best to send it on to you. Property in Strahan is usually very safe but please keep your bungalow locked when you are out.

Games:

A selection of board games and cards are available from reception for your use. We appreciate them being returned with ALL parts intact.

Phone:

The closest public phone is outside Azzas. Turn right from your bungalow, head along Andrew Street, and it is just around the corner.

Emergency procedure:

In the case of fire, ensure all of your party are out of the building safely and assemble at the bus shelter, which is situated on the roadside in front of reception. Alert management and if possible your neighbouring guests. Ring 000 if possible. Fire blankets and fire extinguishers are located on the wall near the bedroom door. The fire hose is located on the fence at the rear of the property.
REMEMBER YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY IS OF THE HIGHEST IMPORTANCE IN AN EMERGENCY!

Power failure:

On occasions Strahan is subject to power failure. It's usually restored promptly. There are matches in the 3rd drawer in the kitchen and a candle on the microwave.

Television:

Three (3) channels only are available in this part of the state: ABC, WIN TV (channel 9, and being broadcast from Hobart), & SOUTHERN CROSS (channels 7 & 10 and being broadcast from Launceston). They can be found using 1, 2 & 3 on the remote control.
